Holly Crighton - Professional groomer at DuralPet Pampering Salon

Here at the 'Pet Pampering Salon' we groom following just one rule;
'can it be done and/or should it be done?'

The well-being, comfort and happiness of your dog is more important than how it looks, yet we guarantee that your pup will leave looking spectacular.

We specialise in altering and customising breed styles to create the perfect look for your pup, as well as teaching you how to maintain that look.

Holly is our senior professional groomer with many years experience - we asked her to tell you a little bit about herself...

“I love dogs. They are my life’s passion, so I followed them into the animal industry. Wanting to be with dogs and keep them healthy led me to be a groomer. I have been grooming for many years now. Owning two small fluffies of my own I know just how important grooming is and just like everyone else, I know how hard it can be to work full time and keep my babies in perfect condition.

With this thought in mind I started designing a grooming program to fit my own busy life style and started using it on my 4year old Maltese Mot and my 18 month old Cavoodle Maisy both of whom I love very much of course.

Over some time I have fine-tuned this 'busy lifestyle grooming program' and now offer it to all clients to help you with your own pets on a regular basis”.

About The Salon
At the Pet Pampering Salon' we use 100% Australian owned and made products. Only the finest products are used. We cater for all skin and coat types. Our Professional groomers are trained in breed styles, dog behaviour and dermatology. While on site the dogs are kept in safe locations. And everyone leaves looking spectacular!

Puppies First Hair Cut
Our professional trainers will tell you that socialising your puppy is the most important thing you could ever do. They must become accustomed to dogs, cats, people, sounds, handling and much more. This includes grooming. Teaching your puppy to accept grooming can be one of the most important things they will ever learn.

Fluffy breeds will require grooming all of their lives, so the earlier they start the better chance they have to acquire a good association towards grooming. However this does not exclude short hair breeds. Boxers, Chihuahuas and other short-coated breeds require grooming training as well.

So it is important that we make it a positive experience. One bad experience can cause a lifetime of grief for you and your puppy. Multiple short sessions are better than fewer longer sessions.
The groomers at Pet Resorts Australia recommend that your puppy should visit its first salon by 9 weeks of age.

Boarding Dogs
As we all know keeping our pets well groomed can be a daily task. So what about when they are boarding?
We here at Pet Resorts Australia we now offer a range of services to ensure that your furry child looks as good as always.

Never again will your pup require a hideous “kennel clip” before they go on their vacation. Our professional and dedicated grooming team can customise a grooming program catered especially for your pooch.

Regular grooming will allow your dog more intimate individual attention, more thorough check over’s, avoid yellow feet on white dogs, and keep them happy and healthy.
So to be sure that your dog’s holiday is as comfortable, relaxing and good looking as it can be, ask to speak to our groomers when you visit.

Services
All prices are the starting price and will will vary depending on the breed and size of your pup or cat.

The Spa Treatment - From $26
Treat your dog to a relaxing spa treatment. Starting with a deep cleansing wash with a skin and coat appropriate shampoo. Your pup will receive a facial to help remove facial stains. They will then be soaked in a conditioning treatment to soothe the skin and freshen their coat.

Once out of the bath they receive a blow dry and are checked for knots. Finally they are finished with a delightful cologne to ensure they leave looking and smelling beautiful.

A regular spa treatment is recommended for dogs during a long board. Or even for just a little bit of relaxation while the kids are at school.

Tidy Treatment - From $45
Your dog will receive the above spa treatment, have their nails cut and their ears cleaned. They will then have a sanitary clip, their feet tidied and a face tidy.

A tidy treatment is the perfect way for your pup to end their stay at pet resorts. Not only will you not need to worry about sending them for a groom once home, they will arrive home feeling refreshed.

 De-Shedding Treatment - From $55
For moulting breeds only, includes the above tidy treatment (if needed) plus a de-shedding session.
